I got this mainly for the white noise function. This alarm clock has a slim profile but is quite wide, which enhances the light. That light is enough to wake someone from sleeping, and you can choose your color and brightness. There is a good variety of noise sounds, including brown noise, pink noise, white noise, fan sounds and nature sounds. I like the white noise best. Once I downloaded the app it was easy to pair with the clock. The app itself is a bit confusing and I'm having some trouble setting up the alarm function. The alarm is good for people who need a light to wake up, but it shouldn't be as difficult as it is to set the alarm. I would also like it if there was a color wheel to make custom colors. I really like the white noise and the brown noise, but the app should be easier to use and not as confusing - if it was I would use the alarm function.

This is a really snazzy alarm clock. Setup was very easy and took maybe about ten minutes. There are a lot of features packed into it. You do need to download the app in order to set alarms, although it will function if you register as a guest for now. The wake up light starts very dim and gradually becomes extremely bright, bright enough to light up our medium sized bedroom. One thing I noticed is that the brown noise turned off when the light came on. I will need a few more nights with it to get everything set exactly how I want it. The timing works in five minute intervals before your alarm time. For example, if you want to be up at 6am, the light starts coming on before that in set increments. I usually wake up naturally around 6am, but I have blackout curtains and would prefer the light to start coming on at 6am and be fully illuminated closer to 7am. That part is still a bit of a work in progress for me. The sleep sounds can be turned on and off using either the app or the device itself. Fair warning, the volume can get very loud. I had it turned all the way up and nearly jumped out of my skin when I turned it on. The clock brightness can be dimmed at night and brighter during the day. I have it set to adjust automatically, but it seems to stay at one brightness level, which is another feature I am still trying to fine tune. I finally found a way to wake up without feeling like I was startled out of a deep sleep by a foghorn. The sunrise simulation is incredibly smooth and actually makes getting out of bed feel natural rather than a chore. Setting up the custom routines through the app was simple and I appreciate being able to dim the display all the way down so my room stays dark. The white noise options are soothing and high quality which helps me drift off much faster than before. It is definitely a bright idea for anyone who struggles with mornings. The app control is the real star here because I can tweak my sleep schedule without fumbling with buttons in the dark. This clock really knows how to rise to the occasion.

This alarm clock is very easy to set up once you download the app. You can customize what color is turned on to wake you up which is fun. The only issue i have with it is that there is no clear or easy way to turn the alarm off. The button on top is like a snooze function where it goes off again 10 min later. There is a switch on the side that you can slide to turn the alarm off, but it either doesnt work or settings in the app override it. I enjoy waking up to my favorite color every day!
